This article describes how to submit your web site to Yahoo's search engine.
Make sure your website is compliant
Before submitting your website to any search engine it is important to verify that your website complies with their quality standards. Sites that contain hidden links, hidden text or similar content can cause your site to be banned. Banned sites are not included in the search results and reinclusion can be a lenghty painful process. Submit your URL
Once you determine your site complies with their quality standards, you may submit your site to Yahoo. Submission on the Yahoo search engine can be done several ways. To submit your site for free
you must first register for an account with Yahoo then complete the form found at
http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html
After submission your web site will be added to a list and eventually visited by their crawler and indexed. Be prepared to wait several weeks before your site appears on the search engine.
